The Quebec Covid curfew initiated on the 9th of January was a valid measure at attempting to quell the ravaging spread of the Covid 19 virus. 

It was meant to be a temporary measure to help prevent the collapse of the health care system. 

Two months later, with the pandemic in Quebec under control and the hospitals no where near the breaking point, and with zero scientific data or evidence that the curfew had anything to do with it, our fundamental human right to autonomy is still dictated by our government, with no official end date in sight. 

While the rest of Canada and much of the United States are seeing similar dramatic drops in contagion and hospitalizations without a curfew, the Quebec government stubbornly refuses to give us our freedom back, insisting the curfew should remain without any justification and without any consideration of the personal and social toll this is taking. 

It’s up to us to pressure and force the government to give us back what is rightfully ours or to provide solid scientific justification for continuing to withhold it. Please sign and share.
