We, the residents of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, hereby sign this Petition in support of the “LETT’s Grow” bill, which legalizes marijuana for both medical and recreational use. This legislation, once passed, could generate over $100 million dollars per year in Kentucky tax revenue. Kentuckians are growing, selling, and consuming marijuana already. It just isn’t being regulated for safety or generating tax revenues for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. By decriminalizing marijuana, courts and police officers can re-prioritize their time and focus on theft and violent crime. We believe marijuana is not the problem, but it can be part of the solution.
