I witnessed an assault and a knife being pulled amongst 13 year old boys at the skate park. This is unacceptable and inexcusable. Our kids love this skatepark and my son spends anywhere from 4-6 hours a day here. We need to know our children are safe and that there is someone there to help them if need be. If we had security or police presence in the evenings, there would be a lot less bullying, violence, drugs, alcohol and horrible language. I’ve recently learnt from many parents that their children don’t even go anymore for fear of being bullied, this is not fair at all!!!! Please sign this petition so we can start the process and send to city officials for a CHANGE!!
