Legacy Partners is the organization that owns and manages a multi-unit apartment in Costa Mesa at 580 Anton Blvd. This petition is to modify the current building policy related to music/noise on the podium deck and pool.

The current policy states, "playing music through portable speakers or devices that can be heard aloud is strictly prohibited on the podium deck & pool." 

We kindly request a modification to this policy. We are working professionals who reside at 580 Anton Blvd. As working professionals, most of our time is spent working from home or away at the office. During our days off, we may use the pool or podium deck amenities. We may also play music through Bluetooth speakers during that time. The volume isn't at a level that should fundamentally disrupt tenants residing in their homes. Music is a big part of our lives, and we desire to enjoy it while using the amenities. 

However, we're forced to sit in silence while using the amenities during our days off. It's counterintuitive and goes against the vision of living in the "language of luxury." 

Our Ask: Modify the rules so we can enjoy music at a decent volume (during open hours / not after 10 pm). Please ensure you ask residents at the pool if they have concerns with music ahead of time, so they are supportive. Please confirm the music is not vulgar or includes profanity. 

The disappointment is rooted in one or two serial complainers who reside in front of the pool/podium deck. It should be understood that having your unit in front of the pool comes with a certain noise level, including kids screaming and playing at the pool. It seems like we are tolerating the experience of the majority of the tenants so that we cater to the 1 or 2 serial complainers.

We kindly request a modification to this policy immediately.
