I was born and bred in Armley and this should not be happening ! The kids have nowhere to go as it is ! LEAVE ARMLEY PARK AS IT IS !

They are trying to meet a planting target by covering all the open space in the park, except for sports pitches, leaving nowhere for childrens play or community events. Just a few more trees, please, rather than this excessive, mad plan. bonkerarea

I'm a supporter of Woodland Trust, but I think that 6000 new trees for 1 park are too many.

Because the proposed tree planting will destroy much of the park and make an area that could become a haven for drug addicts and other criminals.

This should remain a well used community park not a forest. More trees are welcomed but consultation for an appropriate site is essential.

I want trees but in the right places. The recreational area is important to the whole community

I'm sure there's a better way to do this to incorporate all park users

Trees are necessary but shouldn't reduce existing green space. There are plenty of available non existing green space that can be used for tree planting.

Clearly the planners are idiots.
