I believe we should change the start time for the high schools for more than one reason. Mainly because it would be more beneficial for older kids, as in they get more sleep, and the depression rates would probably get lower. There are studies that show when you get less sleep, it affects your brain, especially with teenagers, and it also badly impacts mental health Link on sleep. Also since kids have other activities outside of school, like homework, sports, clubs, etc, they don’t get that quality sleep.
