Lee Patterson has continued to use his office more to serve himself then the duties that he was elected to do . One of the first things he did was to terminate a contract that provided a humane alternative for the animals fo Calhoun County only to instill a tax payer facility with a total lack of transparency and lack of access to the citizens .  With total lack of oversight an illegal and Inhumane facility was operated with hundreds of animals suffering and excruciating death .  The director and two employees were charged with numerous counts of animals cruelty and we expect more charges to be forthcoming .  The facility had lost their license . He has used being a director on the Alabama Association of County Commissioners as an excuse to recklessly spend thousands of tax dollars on lavish trips for him and his family .   We the citizens do not want such a corrupt individual that is certainly facing many ethics complaints to be an officer of ACCA as he is an embarrassment to his constituents and also to the association. We ask that he be removed from this position .
