For many years, the movie ranch served as a backlot to the Sunset Gower Studios (formerly Columbia Pictures Studios) as the Columbia Ranch. When Columbia moved to Burbank in 1972, They did rename it the Burbank Ranch. After Columbia moved to Culver City in 1989, It was renamed as the Warner Bros. Ranch.

In 2019, Warner Bros. sold the Ranch to the Worthe Real Estate Group and Stockbridge Real Estate Fund after WarnerMedia acquired the burbank ranch. Two years later, The state decided to Ruin the ranch by replacing the backlot with stages.
