The county of Appomattox has had a multitude of issues with dogs roaming free recently. The Board of Supervisors refuse to issue a leash law because of hunters. Pet owners and parents of small children are demanding a leash law for all NON HUNTING dogs and hunting dogs OUTSIDE of hunting season. All dogs need to have collars and a contact number.
