LA DIGNITE HUMAINE EST UN DROIT ABSOLU QUI DOIT ETRE RESPECTÉ EN TOUT LIEU ET EN TOUT TEMPS ET AUQUEL NUL NE PEUT AVOIR LE DROIT DE PORTER ATTEINTE ;
Les députés français en votant l’ABROGATION DU CODE NOIR ONT PORTÉ ATTEINTE AU DROIT ABSOLU AU RESPECT DE LA DIGNITE HUMAINE DES NOIRS(RES) et par conséquent DE LA DIGNITÉ DE TOUTE L’HUMANITÉ ;
La reconnaissance de l’annulation du Code Noir est UNE EXIGENCE à laquelle ne peut se soustraire l’État français ;

THE BLACK CODE IS CRIMINAL, HENCE AT ALL TIMES ILLEGAL: WE DEMAND THE RECOGNITION OF THE ANNULMENT OF THE BLACK CODE
The French deputies cannot ignore:
- That in law, ABROGATION is the removal, but for the future, of the legal character of a legislative or regulatory text (legality that only ceases from the promulgation of the abrogation law); whereas ANNULMENT, in law, is the recognition of the illegality of a text for the past, present, and future.
- That the Black Code is a set of texts that grant white people the freedom to capture, deport, and reduce Africans and their descendants to slavery.
Consequently, it was with full knowledge of the facts that on May 28, 2026, French deputies voted unanimously for the bill "on the abrogation of the Black Code."
By voting for the abrogation of the Black Code, these deputies agreed to RECOGNIZE AS LEGITIMATE AND LICIT the permission granted to white people to enslave black people, thus validating the dehumanizing identities of slave, chattel, and freed person assigned to black people by the racist and slaveholding FRANCE.
Through their vote, these deputies affirmed their desire for the French Parliament to give legal value to texts that authorize white people to capture, deport, and reduce Africans and their descendants to slavery, both in the past and the present, until the effective abrogation of the Black Code.
This is in total contradiction with Law No. 2001-434 of May 21, 2001, which recognizes in its first article that: "The French Republic recognizes that the transatlantic slave trade and the Indian Ocean slave trade, on the one hand, and slavery, on the other, committed since the 15th century in the Americas and the Caribbean, in the Indian Ocean and in Europe against African, Amerindian, Malagasy, and Indian populations constitute a crime against humanity."
Through this vote of May 28, 2026, these deputies thus judged that "the enslavement of black people for more than four centuries is not a crime against humanity but a legal act."
In doing so, THEY COMMITTED, WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE FACTS, THE OFFENSE OF DENIAL OF A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.
The denial of this crime is a new violation of the HUMAN DIGNITY of black people reduced to slavery and their descendants, but also a violation of the HUMAN DIGNITY of all black people living on the entire planet. Because the designations of slave, chattel, and freed person assigned to black people in the French Black Code do not concern only all black people living on the African continent, but also all their descendants reduced to slavery on other territories and more broadly the entire black population of the planet.
Because the Black Code is also one of the texts on which white slaveholders relied upon to arrogate to themselves the right to enter African territories and, wherever they went, to raid black people to deport and enslave them in their so-called colonies. For what reason did these deputies choose to deny the crime through an abrogation law rather than recognizing its ILLEGALITY at all times and in all places?
It should be recalled that the law of May 21, 2001, by recognizing that the slave trade and slavery constitute a crime against humanity, has already de facto recognized and pronounced the annulment of the Black Code, a major constituent element of said crime.
Annulment states that the Black Code NEVER HAD AND CAN NEVER HAVE ANY JURIDICAL LEGITIMACY and that it is an ILLEGAL TEXT that should never have existed and must be definitively removed from the French legal corpus.
It is the Annulment of the Black Code, not its abrogation, that restores the TRUTH by recognizing that black people were neither "chattels," nor "slaves," nor "freed persons," and that slavery is a CRIME.
It is the Annulment of the Black Code, not its abrogation, that affirms that the Black Code and all texts regulating slavery are, have always been, and will remain forever, CRIMINAL ACTS that cannot attain any juridical legitimacy.
It is the annulment of the Black Code that recognizes IN LAW that Africans and their descendants are Human Beings.
Thus, it should be recalled that the law of May 21, 2001, by recognizing that the slave trade and slavery constitute a crime against humanity, has already de facto recognized and pronounced the annulment of the Black Code, a major constituent element of said crime.
Consequently:
We, Human Beings descended from Human Beings enslaved in FRANCE and in the aforementioned French colonies by the French state,
We, Human Beings still under the regime of the Black Code, We, Human Beings from all over the world,
AFFIRM THAT
HUMAN DIGNITY IS AN ABSOLUTE RIGHT THAT MUST BE RESPECTED EVERYWHERE AND AT ALL TIMES, UPON WHICH NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO INFRINGE;
The French deputies, by voting for the ABROGATION OF THE BLACK CODE, HAVE VIOLATED THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO THE RESPECT OF HUMAN DIGNITY OF BLACK PEOPLE AND CONSEQUENTLY THE DIGNITY OF ALL HUMANITY;
The recognition of the annulment of the Black Code is a REQUIREMENT to which the French state cannot exempt itself;
Any opposition to the annulment of the Black Code falls under the application of the Black Code.
HE BLACK CODE BEING NULL,
WE DEMAND THAT THE FRENCH STATE RECOGNIZE THE ANNULMENT OF THE BLACK CODE.
