Toronto’s First Year Round Lacrosse Facility

This petition had 400 supporters

In the city of Toronto there is no full time lacrosse facility in the city. My name is Jeremy Hill and I am the owner of the Toronto Tiger lacrosse and with my partner Dave Barlow of Lax Hut Village we plan to change that and build a full-time lacrosse facility. The game of lacrosse has been a blessing for me and for so many players that have played the game. For me it has helped me through the toughest times in my life and has given me life and has given me the drive to always move forward. Lacrosse in Iroquois culture is referred to as the medicine game. My son Jeremiah Thomas Hill passed away this year September 10th 2017, he was only 10 days old. I was so lost after he passed, and I wasn’t sure what to do but lacrosse held me together for my fiancée, my family and Jeremiah. I have dedicated my life to lacrosse and have dedicated the Tigers and this facility to my son. The Toronto Tigers hope to spread the game of lacrosse and to add to the community of Toronto an all inclusive sport facility. We are looking for 14,000 signatures to show the investors and the government that we are serious and that a lacrosse facility would thrive. Please sign and help us build the Jeremiah Thomas Field House in Toronto!
