Mack manfull started this petition to Lawton Public Schools

I want for the girls at school to be able to dress how they want without fear if being sexualized, shamed, or fear of having to change out of the clothing that makes them feel good. I want for the school to realize, that they are the ones sexualizing what we wear. That it is considered "distracting" to some but by some they mean the males. I want for things to be fair and for things to change. I'm tired of not being able to wear my favorite pair of jeans bc the holes go up too high. I'm tired of not being able to wear a crop top that shows 2 inches of skin by my stomach is apparently too scandalous. AND I AN TIRED OF NOT BEING ABLE TO WEAR SHIRTS THAT SHOW MY SHOULDERS. Things need to change. If the boys at our school can show their shoulders, wear jeans with holes to far up, and wear shorts that arnt finger tip length, THEN WE SHOULD TOO!
