We are currently going to be under construction for our 9th Dollar General store in Lawrence County Indiana.

As you can imagine it is convenient to stop by your closest Dollar General to pick up whatever needs your family may have, but is there a true need for another store?

There are Dollar General’s in Judah, Oolitic, Fayetteville, John Williams blvd, 16th street, East 50, Mitchell Road, and Main Street in Mitchell.

Convenience is okay but complete overkill! At what point does convenience exceed the need for our children and future children to have fun and exciting activities to do? I saw a post from a friend that prompted me to create this petition. The post says their 4 year old child “wished there was something fun where ‘they’ live” and stated that other children probably feel the same way.

This is not a post to create division in our community but to put a stop to corporate America putting their footprints across our small County with yet another Dollar General.
