As a consumer I need protection from defective products and companies taking advantage of our lax consumer laws.

Start your own chapter of the AAP in your city or state and real selfless people must build a system which delivers like people did in Delhi under Kejriwal despite all odds. Be the change you want to see. Self help is the only help. You cannot work with a broken system. You have to build a new one.

The issue raised here affects us all and every consumer should feel protected when spending his/her hard earned money on anything. Lemon laws will also make the manufacturers cautious and this would overall mean that quality of products released in our markets will be better barring the occasional defective piece for which the manufacturers will take up responsibility.

I am one of those guys who dreamt about royal Enfield and with the money I saved bought one,I was expecting a trouble free bike but what the company gave me was a vehicle full of trouble and the sales team promised me to replace the bike which they never did and every time I have a issue with the bike ,tried speaking to the authorities who are least bothered ,I want my money back.

The amount of money we pay for these bikes is not a joke. Our lives are at stake. The manufacturer has to take responsibility for such technical issues.

The manufacturer should be responsible and should be in total transparent with the activity done on the bike, in this case the person should get a brand new bike or manufacturer should be fined heavily for being so irresponsible and ignorant
