We undersign this to call for a ban of facial recognition in the state of Illinois. 

Facial recognition is a huge violation of privacy going against what this state stands for. Already the Clearview(name of the company) has scanned billions of faces, and there data base is already being used by over 2,000 companies, ranging form large brand names to  individual people. We are also alarmed for the racial biases in the facial recognition software, causing bias in our law enforcement who they are planning on giving this technology to. Overall after this is in place, we will never have any privacy again. Already companies like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube have a cease and desist order against Clearview.

The cons of this technology outweigh the positives to this which is why we are asking for the use of facial recognition be banned in the state of Illinois.
