On May 7, 2019, we were made aware that LAUSD trying to close the elementary portion of Laurel Elementary, in order to bring in a middle school magnet program. This would eliminate all elementary school classes within the school. This leaves all parents of the elementary children without a school to go to. As parents, we need to work together for the sake of our children. They deserve better! We need to work together and save our school for our children and all future children! We love Laurel and want our children to go there for years to come!
