The general public need to understand what an RN is and what they do . They also need to understand the difference between an RN and a LPN

When nursing is looked at from a task perspective the overlap between RN LPN and PCA is significant. That is why we need to educate the public on what that difference is. I would like NANB to do that please especially in the current climate of a pandemic. Thank you for advocating for the health and safety of our public and educating them about “what a difference having a registered nurse can mean” to patient, family and community health outcomes

We are tired of being taken advantage of, we need to be together and stand strong, 3 years is to long without a contract, solidarity equals strength 

The public, government, employers and health care professionals are confused with the scope of practice of RNs. Its important to clarify the scope of RNs to produce better patient outcomes.

All nurses including LPNs collectively impact patients and health-system outcomes, nurses must reconcile the confusion and develop the competencies required to fully engage in intra-professional collaboration.

CNA has embraced this role. My hope is that NANB do the same.
English post to reach a greater audience.
