Andrew Jason Rogers, he is what some of us have called a second father, and some, they’re only father figure.

Mr.Rogers has given everything for his students, for the band, and for the laurel school district.

He gets to the school early in the morning like other teachers, but he stays there until late night, sometimes that could be 7pm, sometimes it’s until almost midnight.

As previously mentioned, we think of him as a father, the greatest example is every year when we have our fall senior night, one of the band students will have to walk alone, as their parents wouldn’t be at the game, and 9/10 times they will ask Mr.Rogers to walk with them, and he will gladly accept.

There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his students, he treats us as his own children.

That is why Students of the past and present, parents, and even teachers would like to have the Laurel High School Auditorium be named the Andrew Jason Rogers Concert Hall, to thank him for everything he has done for us
