The entire girls soccer team has agreed that if we don’t start making a change, then no one will. We support all of our teams at Laurel highlands but we also deserve better. Our new turf has just been installed but it will be taken over by football and boys soccer for practices. We are okay with this but we are left with the messy, unkept grass field at the top. The grass is rarely cut, there are holes throughout the field, and the field lines are barley present. We also would love to have new uniforms. Ours are years old and we would like to look just as good as our football, soccer boys, and volleyball girls do in theirs. We work just as hard as our male athletes and we are asking for nothing but the bare minimum.
