We call on the Board of Education trustees for the Brea Olinda Unified School District to provide extra fencing around Laurel Elementary School. Specifically, extra fencing is needed around the cafeteria and on the side of the alley on Sycamore Street.  The incident on 9/29/22 when an intruder accessed the campus is another reminder that fencing is needed to ensure that our kids remain safe within the campus boundaries and that intruders are kept out. Fencing will also prevent our kids from wandering off campus.  Our kids deserve better protection when they are at school.  Please sign this petition to show support for extra fencing around Laurel Elementary School.
