This is a completely inhumane way to treat workers and a disgusting way to run your business. The profits being made by those running Lays isn’t success. It’s pathetic. If you were really so successful and not pathetic workers would be given living wages. If the business was efficient in its production and etc it would not need to abuse people in such horrible ways. I support the strikers because they shouldn’t be abused by their employers the way they have. We’ve already gone through all this shit in the 1910-40s with corruption and the need for humane working conditions yet here we are roughly a 100 years later and Lays/Pepsi Co is still abusing their employees. I plan to boycott your products even if I have to do it for the rest of my life. I am appalled, disgusted, and enraged by the treatment of employees and the working class.

The company's resolution is a complete disregard for human quality of life. It is inhumane to have work conditions such as the ones in place at Frito-Lay. If the reasoning for these conditions is so that us consumers can enjoy the chip, then I do not wish to have your chip. Through all of the suffering they manage to consistently raise the costs of products. A potato is relatively inexpensive, and Frito-Lay is aware of that. That is why they grossed sales over 12 billion USD. They sure waste money in advertising and non-relevant materials, so why cant they extend that generous money and allocate it back to the backbone of the company? Last note that really sets me off is that CEO Ramon Laguarta is reported to be worth over $50 million, and I'm positive the "associates" never worked with the guy. Unbelievable

I understand Frito-Lay may be your only source of income, however, have faith that companies out there actually care for their employees. Not every company is solely focused on money, but on the overall success their company receives. This could mean that they send employees to school or provide them with continuous motivation and support. Companies should practice effective work ethics, and live by their core values. Unfortunately Frito-Lay has a lousy mission statement. They are so consumer focused, and the associates are left out.

You are a human being and your life has importance. Frito is a no go.

These hours and wages are extractive, exploitative and unsustainable. Frito Lay needs to treat their workers like people.
