Parents and students of Lauderdale County Schools are looking for a more traditional approach to the set dress code.  We are looking to discontinue the current dress code and set regular clothes (within reason) into place.  As nothing will be immediate, we do hope that the Lauderdale County School Board will hear our request and ban uniforms and return once again to regular clothes for all students. 

The affect of this dress code is a distraction to the students, staff, and parents.  The staff takes time away from teaching to dress code a student.  The said student then has to take time away from learning to go address the issue, which then leads to the parents.  We parents have to not only take even more time taking new clothes to the school, some of us having to leave work, but we have search for these mandatory items from the start and so forth through the year.  Let me tell you it's not as easy.  

Our goal is to bring this issue to light is hope that our voices are heard.
