The bridge currently being constructed is a drain on Alabama taxpayers. It is a new construction and probably employs less than a dozen workers. 

In order for the people of Lauderdale County and the State of Alabama to help funding of new projects I think this new bridge should become a toll bridge to offset costs of construction and allow funding to preserve the existing area. A wetland with wildlife.

And to fund better ecological,  archeological, environmental and economic impact studies for future projects.
