Latino voters: Register before October 9th deadline
Each month, more than 50,000 American Latinos turn 18. The voter registration gap hurts young Latinos the worst -- fewer than 39% of them were registered to vote in 2008.
Here in Arizona, there’s more than 92,000 young Latinos that haven’t registered to vote, and thousands more who could have their voices heard if they only took this simple step.
With the deadline for Arizona coming up on October 9th, there’s not a minute to spare -- if you’re a voter, you have to register to vote immediately.
Pledge to register before the October 9th deadline and make your voice heard on Election Day.
As residents of a crucial swing state, Latino voters in Arizona have the power to decide the outcome of elections up and down the ticket.
But you have to get registered by the deadline. You need to re-register if you’ve recently changed address or your name. And once the deadline passes, you’ll have wait another four years to have your say in our nation’s leaders.
