I wanted to respectfully request that county road 85.5 be kept open. We have an online offroad group that has people coming down each year from Denver, Colorado Springs, pueblo, and surrounding areas to enjoy the drive behind fishers peak as well as new Mexico residents. There aren't many offroad attractions in the area other than 85.5, potato patch (just before north lake), and bear and blue camp grounds (trinchera peak trail). This is one of our great trails to offer to the offroad community. Our group makes it a priority to tread lightly, leave nothing behind, and not cause issues. It benefits the community with more tourism (restaurants, motels/hotels, automotive shops, gas stations, and in some cases towing companies, though we all want to avoid that one) thank you for your consideration in this matter,
All of the members of Colorado Insanity Off Road group, and the tax payers of Colorado and New Mexico.
