We call on Latrobe city to review and ACTION the need for a pedestrian crossing at the corner of Jumbuk Road and Main Street (between the Pub & the General store) to keep our children safe!
Currently when driving up Jumbuk Road toward the Main Street there is only one school sign that is not visible to indicate to drivers that it is a 40 zone and to be beware of school children crossing.
When turning the corner from Main Street onto Jumbuk road, it is a blind corner you really can not see the small children crossing the road, nor can the children safely see when a car is approaching.
It is currently just too dangerous and something needs to happen as soon as possible to avoid a serious accident.
