Many families in Maryland Counties and other states are still experiencing hardships while trying to recover from the Pandemic; A pandemic that is no person's fault. Families have lost breadwinners and their incomes, some have already lost their homes, and now some are facing the loss of their recovery home as well.

Please, with my signature and others on the petition, go back to the table. Your citizens are struggling to eat and keep shelter over the heads of their loved ones.

You all have the power to fix this present issue and we cannot worry about future issues until you’ve helped your citizens who built this state, maintain their homes so that they can continue to build and be productive citizens. We beg of you, as this eviction crisis is going to be devastating, correction it’s already showing its effects. Please help!

The disbursement of benefits according to the the Howard County Website https://www.howardcountymd.gov/finance/american-rescue-plan-arp-funding shows how the funds were disbursed but this does not attest to the number of families still in need. Families have to choose between paying rent, utilities, or putting food on the table. Unfortunately, clothing, shoes, hygiene, and cleaning products are becoming a luxury rather than a necessity. I am not stating the funding disbursed did not help, I am simply stating that it was not enough.

Along with myself and those who support this cause, we thank you for your continued support, this petition will go no where without our signatures please be counted. Again thanks for your support you have no idea how 2 mins of your time can bring change.
