The problem is I received emails from my child school almost every other day stating a child or staff member has COVID. At first it was once a month but now since winter has approach it's has gotten worse to at least 2 times or more a week which is extremely concerning because children have to travel on buses, eat lunch in cafeterias, bathrooms and along with being in classrooms. Not only that we have more children now in the hospital before with COVID and now with this new Omicron virus is no joke. I just lost my aunt to Omicron. We need to keep our children, staff and ourselves safe as much as possible. We as people shouldn't be putting our lives like this at risk especially our children. Me as a parent would greatly appreciate it if all children went back to virtual learning until at least these numbers go back down. It's not far for children nor staff to be going out risking their life, because this virus has a diifernt effect on everyone. Some may make it and pull through and some may not. Why gamble with people lives here. Again, if possible so kindly close schools for the safety of all who is going in person. Please review the number for the state of Maryland and make a valid decision from there. Thanks
