The phone ban at Largs Academy is not only unreasonable but gives teachers the power to Take Pupils phones from them without the pupil agreeing correct me if I'm wrong but taking something from someone without their permission is theft and you're not even allowed to use your phone during registration which is specifically designed to be the ten minutes at the start of the school day to relax yourself ahead of the first lesson I'm not sure what it's like in other schools but the attitude and behavior towards phones at Largs Academy is akin to the Amish every teacher will moan about how much they hate phones thinking that saying it once didn't make their point clear I argue that while phones should not be used in class they should be allowed under certain circumstances i.e During Registration During a Study Period and At Interval/Lunch and also for the 5 minute break that some teachers give during Double Lessons
