Bring The Weinstein Company Back (But Without Harvey Weinstein)!

We, the undersigned, can nicely ask Lantern Entertainment (Lantern Capital Partners) and Spyglass Media Group, to revive The Weinstein Company (which had been defunct due to bankruptcy after Harvey Weinstein (one of the founders) got fired for sexual abuse allegations back in 2017), an American independent film studio, founded in New York City by Bob and Harvey Weinstein in 2005. The Weinstein Company was one of my favorite companies growing up (especially movies like Doogal (the infamous, 2006 USA dub of the 2005 British movie The Magic Roundabout) and the Hoodwinked films (from 2005/2006 and 2011)), and I was so disappointed when the company went to dust, due to the sexual abuse allegations by Harvey Weinstein. I didn't like how the company didn't distribute the US release of Paddington 2 (the 2017/2018 sequel to 2014/2015's Paddington) and was instead distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, and the company and its logo didn't appear on the DVD/Blu-ray/digital release of Leap! (the 2017 American version of the 2016 animated movie Ballerina), due to those obvious reasons. I think it is time for The Weinstein Company to be bought back, just without Harvey Weinstein (or any of his involvement).
"The Weinstein Company (usually credited or abbreviated as TWC) was an American independent film studio, founded in New York City by Bob and Harvey Weinstein in 2005. TWC was one of the largest mini-major film studios in North America prior to the firing of Harvey Weinstein following allegations of sexual harassment and assault against him, as well as financial troubles that followed. The studio eventually declared bankruptcy in February 2018, with independent studio Lantern Entertainment acquiring a majority of its film library and assets. Founder and chief executive Bob Weinstein previously owned a small stake in the company. The company dismissed joint founder and chief executive Harvey Weinstein in October 2017, after over 100 women came forward to accuse him of sexual harassment, assault or rape. On February 26, 2018, The Weinstein Company announced in a statement that it would declare bankruptcy following the collapse of a buyout deal with an investor group led by Maria Contreras-Sweet. However, the TWC board and the investor group confirmed on March 1, 2018, that they had reached a deal in which TWC would sell all of its assets for US$500 million. On March 6, 2018, the acquisition deal collapsed again after the studio had an extra debt of US$50 million revealed. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on March 19, 2018. On May 1, 2018, Lantern Capital emerged as the winner of the studio's bankruptcy auction."
The Weinstein Company launched on March 15, 2005 after Harvey and Bob Weinstein left Miramax Films, which they co-founded in 1979. They retained ownership of Dimension Films. Their first releases in 2005 included the dramatic thriller Derailed (starring Jennifer Aniston, Vincent Cassel and Clive Owen), the offbeat comedy-drama Transamerica (starring Felicity Huffman) the computer-animated family film Hoodwinked, the World War II–era comedy-drama Mrs. Henderson Presents (starring Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins), and the caper comedy The Matador (starring Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear). The last movies produced and distributed by The Weinstein Company are the 2017 films Tulip Fever and The Guardian Brothers, both released on September 1st of 2017.
For anyone who remembers The Weinstein Company from their childhood, that it disappointed to see the company be turned to dust, this petition will officially help the company be bought back by Lantern Entertainment (Lantern Capital Partners) and Spyglass Media Group. However, if that actually happens, Harvey Weinstein will have no involvement at all. The name "The Weinstein Company" and its logo (along with its music composed by Nicole Weinstein (the daughter of Bob Weinstein and niece of Harvey Weinstein)) will be kept for nostalgic purposes, but it will be managed by different, and younger staff. This is for anyone who really loves and misses The Weinstein Company so much.
