We need to constantly remind ourselves how we want our future to look and why so many people come to the island to visit especially tourists from Europe where they have almost decimated there forest and wild life . We the people of vancouver island love our wildlife and our parks and must be good Stewarts to preserve and protect it at all costs for our health and wellbeing . And for future generations .
Langford has become grossly over developed and over populated lately and in fifty years it will probably be better known as a slum neighbourhood as all of the new buildings begin to deteriorate at the same time. Anything to save any of its remaining original flora and fauna should be a priority now instead of the Mayor and his group of elected officials trying to line their deep pockets with more tax money gained from more development.
We must save all the remaining undeveloped natural areas in the CRD both for carbon sinks and for areas for wildlife. Humans have taken enough of the wild lands. Development should only take place on existing developed land.
Money now doesnt help our kids and your kids future along with their kids, etc.
Please stop all this development for our kids sake and work on the infrastructure issues at hand.
