Hello from Lane Tech Students,

Mr. Oshana was hired as a temporary art teacher here at Lane and has made a permanent impact on the lives of students here. He is an active sponsor and a teacher who genuinely cares about the well-being of his students and how they can translate their identity to their art. Mr. Oshana has positively impacted the days and lives of all his students and everyone who interacts with him daily. Though he hasn’t been here very long he has quickly become a beacon in our community. In being able to share laughs, personal experiences, cultures, he does not simply teach but represents the teachers Lane looks for, specifically Lane students. We, the students, are aware that the art department has an opening for another teacher position to be filled and couldn’t think of anyone else better fit. We are asking for Mr. Oshana to be offered a permanent position at Lane. Lane, Lane’s art department, and its students will be better for it.
