With the evictions being pushed back many landlords are stuck with tenants whom they wanted to begin eviction proceedings against or already had a court date  secured before the COVID-19 pandemic. This is NOT fair for landlords to be kept in torment by bad tenants especially  those determined not to pay their rental obligations.  This petition's purpose is to gain support for landlords who are in distress at this time who are unable to gain relief from bad tenants in hopes that the government would hear our plight and open the courts for proceedings against those tenants who were not in good standing before this pandemic crisis. Landlords have rights as well. The moratorium on evictions and foreclosures has been extended AGAIN through August 1st.
