The Residents of Cuffley and Northaw are petitioning the landlord of the building the library occupies to replace the leaking toilet pipework that runs in the ceiling of our library. We have been closed for 2 YEARS and had  2 FLOODS which contaminated all the children's books and furniture which we had to replace. It also damaged IT equipment beyond repair. The closure of our library deprives the local community of a much valued and used place where young and old from the villages of Cuffley, Northaw and the surrounding areas can meet, read, use the PCs or just have a chat with the volunteers. We believe it is imperative that this work is undertaken as a matter of urgency as the local residents have been without a library for too long.
