Stop the closure of Busy Bees Nursary Telford Parkway

I am a parent of a child that attends the Nursery. On Friday 18th May it was announced that the Nursery will close on 31st August 2018 due to the Land Registry of which the Nursery rent part of the building selling their premises and moving leaving 15 weeks for the staff and parents to find new jobs and care for the children. It appears that no efforts are being made to negotiate with the Land Registry or the new owners to retain the lease or alternatively find new premises for the staff and children to move as a whole surely 15 weeks is achievable if they act now ! The Nursery is extremely popular and at full capacity which makes the decision even more difficult to accept.

This has personally caused myself and every other parent of a child that attends the Nursery stress and upset as the staff are amazing and having experienced several nurseries within the Telford area I can honestly say the dedication and caring nature of the Parkway team is second to none I have never felt more comfortable leaving my child with anyone as I do at this Nursery it is heartbreaking to think that my child that has an amazing bond with the team will suffer along with every other child that attends this Nursery because of this decision, there is no shortage of nurseries in the Telford area but there are a shortage of outstanding nurseries with a team of people that are more like family that go above and beyond for our children and this is what we are potentially losing.

As parents we would all agree that our children are the most important people in our lives and we would do anything for them, as a working parent first and foremost my priority is to ensure my child is looked after by people I can trust and who love and care for them as I would this is what I have found at this Nursery this incredible group of people that love care and educate every single child they have and give parents such as myself comfort to know our children are safe and happy when we are apart from them. This is why I am urgently appealing to anyone past or present that has attended this Nursery, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents and family in general or simply someone that understands the situation to support this petition in the hope this ludicrous decision is overturned, your support would mean so much to us and you can make a difference to all the little people who derseve to continue their care in their familiar safe environment with people they have grown to love.

Your help and support would mean so much together we can make a difference.

Thank you
