Residents wish to stop the excessive speeding and reckless driving that has resulted in innumerable accidents along this stretch of road.  Other roads in the area even major bus routes have a 20mph restriction. Also a zebra or pedestrian crossing enabling access to both schools adjacent to Bare Lane would mean traffic would be slowed and one continuous long run from Torrisholme roundabout to Marine Road at the end of Princes Crescent would be reduced.  Living on Princes Crescent I have seen 2 major incidents in the last 2 years and many small ones.  Crossing the road is hazardous in a community of predominantly elderly people.  Warning signs would also be beneficial.
