Joshua Ferto sexually assaulted his cousin and admitted it himself, this has been proven with a multitude of screenshots. He has also used racial and homophobic slurs which is also documented via screenshot. He also threatened to set the school on fire, on video. He is currently allowed inside the building and on campus. When students expressed their concern to the dean they were told to “stay out of it”. Many female (and male) students at lake zurich highschool discussed their discomfort with the leniency of josh’s punishment. Students have said that they feel unsafe and scared with josh in their class or even in LZHS in general. The punishment given from his actions is unacceptable and it’s repulsive he’s even allowed on campus after the incident, instead of immediately on the verge of expulsion.
