Public Notice was just published recently for a new retail development. This is for the lot on 101st where the trees were just cleared. Owner’s previous developments were 9100 S.F. Dollar General stores and this appears to be the intent for this parcel. 

Neighbors are worried about decline in property value if a Dollar General was to be put on this property. In addition, this property is extremely close to many homes and backyards. It would not be in the best interest of our community to have a Dollar General in this location. 

The Public typically has an opportunity to voice their opposition to the Lake County Plan Commission to persuade their decision. We will use this petition to voice our concerns at the March 16th meeting.
