In 2012, Lake County Animal Services took in a little over 13,000 animals. Of these animals, approximately 4,500 were euthanized. Many of the animals that come through LCAS are under 3 years old. Low-cost spay/neuter is a proven way to reduce the number of unwanted animals. Lake County currently has almost a quarter of a million dollars ($250,000) that has been donated by the people to prevent the over-population of animals. Please sign this petition to encourage the Lake County Board of County Commissioners to move forward with the creation of this low-cost clinic.
