Continued deadnaming transgender individuals is a horrific act of anyone, let alone someone on the DIVERSITY and INCLUSION Board. A new flyer came in the mail to many homes in the area on National Trans Day of Visibility purposely deadnaming a candidate Kristal (who has legally changed her name to Kristal Larson) who is a vocal Avon community member. Supervisor Terry Wilke know her and has taunted with other deadnaming attempts towards her. This is an act of aggression. Remember, there are other adults and children that are struggling, wanting to be themselves. These types of actions, visible to everyone, can make waves of aggression towards our community and county. PLEASE, demand Terry Wilke to step down!! If not, he needs to be removed, yesterday!!
