Dheeraj Gundapuneni started this petition to Labor ministry

My current company is 5th company in my 14 years of career. I am still struggling to confirm the transfer of PF of my 1st and 3rd companies. Having engaged the PF department over a period of 3 years, I did not get conclusion and only got responses as 'This department is not in receipt of your request'. When I wrote to PF commissioner attaching all previous correspondences and threaten a legal case after due communication, I got a minor movement initiated. Currently my PF is in a PF trust belonging to my company. PF trust records are not available in PF website through UAN. My company records show a transfer of some amount in the financial year 2014-2015 but there are no details shown as to from which of my 4 earlier companies, I have got this amount. While I was in my 4th company earlier prior to my current company, I initiated transfers from my 1st and 3rd company. Given the mundane correspondence stretching over 2 years, I am not sure if the transfer was effected by the PF department after I switched to my current company. After switching over, my previous PF account would get closed thereby the transfer if any made by the PF department would not be completed thus landing all of these amounts in suspended transactions. I came to know that 43k crore amount of the employed people in India are stuck owing to such kind of suspended accounts or transactions. I am not sure how far is it true but from what I know is labor ministry has spent around 4k crore in 1 year on the legal expenditure responding to the legal cases by the public.

Why cannot the PF department make all suspended PF accounts online thereby all working people can view and stake claim with appropriate proof? I also came to know that public adaalat on every 3rd Sunday(21st of every month probably) is conducted in Hyderabad for Telangana people. Can the frequency of adalats be increased to reduce the humongous outstanding unclaimed PF amounts of 43k crore.
