We are truly concerned about the increase in COVID-19 cases popping up in our school district. We are quite aware that our Govenor has spoke his peace, but I for one am not at peace. I worry about my child every day I send her.  I contemplate pulling her out, even though I cannot homeschool her, I'd allow her to fail a grade to keep her safe.   It is a $1000 fine if you mandate any type of mask order. I know of several districts that have decided to accept the fine and do what's best for their school. Their teachers.. their children. I believe ours are worth every penny. I am asking that LGISD mandates wearing mask and practice social distancing as much as possible.  If you agree, please sign this petition.
