The launch of the Nabil Al-Sharif Prize for the Euro-Med dialogue

On the margin of the third edition of the Euro Arab Youth Forum, The Tunisian Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation intends to launch the “Nabil Al-Sharif Prize for EuroMed Dialogue” as a tribute to the former Anna Lindh Foundation’s Executive Director who passed away in March 2021.
With great affection and respect, Nabil al-Sharif is remembered by his colleagues as a man of principle, great diplomacy and an advocate for the intercultural dialogue values throughout his career.
Accordingly, the prize will be given annually to a civil society organization active in one of the 43 countries of the EuroMed zone whose actions played an essential role in fostering intercultural dialogue across the countries –and among individuals— of the region.
The subject of the prize will change every year in order to support the efforts of the member-organisations of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s Networks and to highlight their different areas of activities.
A jury composed of the head of networks and the ALF will be responsible for the selection of the organization, one that had the most\best advance in the field of each edition.
We would like to propose the adoption of this award by the Anna Lindh Foundation. Therefore, your signatures are of utmost importance.
