Why is the developer getting generous setback and height exemptions when the existing affordable RSO housing that was torn down isn't being replaced?

This is going to make parking in the neighborhood a bigger nightmare than it already is!

We need everyone to be aware of what is happening! There are so many residents already with a lot of new ones coming in and we all need to co-operate especially when it comes to parking and zoning!

All lives matter and, this kind of building plan is irresponsible, inconsiderate and even probably greedy. I grew up in this area and support change towards the greater good for humanity.

As a neighbor of this lot, I’m opposed to the construction of this complex. The parking and traffic flow is already a tremendous problem even without a building there right now. I do not have dedicated parking spot and need to park on street and it’s nearly impossible to find parking daily. In addition, Glencoe is a very narrow street, nearly 1 lane, and many people use it as a cut through between Venice Blvd and Washington. It’s extremely congested during peak traffic hours and cars drive dangerously fast around the corner, causing risk to the neighborhood residents, kids, and pets. We do not need any more cars flooding our street!

We need STRONG community collaboration and better planning to develop a thoughtful densification of our Venice Community!

MUCH NEEDED new AFFORDABLE HOUSING developments can only be successful when the Neighborhood is involved and when such projects are beneficial to the existing and future Residents and Businesses!

Densification is critical but NOT AT THE EXPENSE of our and new city dweller QUALITY OF LIFE AND SAFETY!
