Our school's breakfast program distributes chocolate milk that is manufactured by a company called Sealtest. Sealtest products do not carry the fair trade symbol, and are therefore manufactured in a free trade environment. This means that human trafficking (including child trafficking) may be involved in the manufacturing of their products, specifically through the cocoa that is used in their chocolate milk. There is no documentation available to the general public concerning Sealtest's cocoa provider, which prompts us to raise our eyebrows and potentially think twice about purchasing Sealtest products. We are petitioning to dissuade L'Amoreaux from putting their funds towards a product that is manufactured in a questionable way.
