KU housing has recently decided to bring back sleeping porches despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Housing seeking input from those who it will affect, the residents, and made us sign contracts before announcing their decision despite insistent questioning. This is putting our health and well-being at risk, since 25 people would be sleeping in the same room, if one person gets infected the entire hall might consequently quarantine and possibly get infected as well.
