Have you ever gotten the sudden urge to bust out singing to a song you knew at the grocery store, but were too afraid to do it? What if there was a way to combine the chore of shopping with something much more fun, like karaoke? There could be. Kroger karaoke would be an inclusive, judgement free space for members of the Morgantown community to sing their hearts out while shopping at the Suncrest Kroger. What I propose is this: a once-a-week karaoke night that would take place on Thursdays from 6-10 pm, after the main rush of people was over. There would also be a separate, designated area for said karaoke to occur, which could be used as a multipurpose space throughout the week. Each person would be allowed one song each so as to be welcoming and inclusive to all the members of our community. If turnout is good, there may be opportunity for expansion of karaoke times or even singing contests in the future.
