There is a single mom/parent epidemic that is rapidly increasing throughout the years, in 2020 there was a study that about 15.31 million family’s are single mother households, there needs to be a Registry for absent fathers/parents who are negligent towards Their responsibilities as father’s mentally, physically, emotionally ,and financially. There also needs to be consequences to their  negligence such as child neglect charges. Those that are charged with child neglect charges should be put on a data base that is available to the public. in the U.S there is an overwhelmingly large amount of single mother who lose there battle to PPD/Postpartum  depression mostly due to the lack of support from the absentee parent by this registry being put in place this can decrees the single mother/ parent epidemic By enforcing a negligent parent registry, this will help combat the growing epidemic of single-parent household within the United States by holding the absentee parent not only responsible but accountable for the children that they have neglected. The overall goal is to have healthy family dynamics for the children. That start with having responsible accountable parents they can effectively coparent and provide for the children mentally emotionally physically and financially.
