A huge portion of immigrants constitute of such who do not meet any of the criteria as advised by the immigration NZ.  Nevertheless they have been there during the phase of COVID-19 in one way or the other, like every other New Zealander. 

Every individual currently staying in NZ must be given an opportunity to call Aoteoroa their home and create a future for themselves. For one reason or another, they have diverted from the path leading to their residency, hence missing out. The government must be considerate of the individual circumstances and make a provision to include everyone soul currently living in NZ in this change of a lifetime and not let them wander in oblivion.
