The Kosher consumers need to be protected from spoiled / stale / old Passover products.
Manufacturers of Passover products should be required to have either a production date or expiration date clearly printed on their product.
Some Retailers put their excess Passover stock in storage after Passover and then it goes back onto the shelves 11 months later. A consumer then purchases that product, unaware that it was from “last year”, opens it and finds it to be spoiled, and can’t even return it to the retailer for credit as they don’t accept any return on Passover / seasonal products.
Passover is expensive enough for us, the consumer, that we don’t need to waste and throw away money on spoiled Passover products.
Let’s convince the manufacturers and the kosher certifying agencies to protect us, the consumers...
